When I think Utah, my mind goes straight to mormons and awesome national parks. Maybe mormons rock-climbing with, like, twenty kids holding the rope. But it’s been a good summer for my writing career, I’m getting a lot of work, and Matador Network asked me to contribute to their latest tourism campaign with Visit Utah, so obviously I did some research, I’m a professional for god’s sake. And boy howdy, wouldn’t you know it, but the state actually has some kickass culinary and brewing (brulinary?) traditions too. A mix of aboriginal American, Mexican, Spanish, and Tex-Mex, with the craft beer revolution carrying it along the wave. Researching this made me hungry as shit. Hopefully you have more options for actually eating than I did.
