As my longtime readers know, I love food. I love eating. I’ll eat just about anything that can’t be found on an endangered species list. And come on, if you could find ethically sourced human meat, you wouldn’t give it a try? I’ll have a 22 oz. Kanye porterhouse, blue rare. Unfortunately, since I’ve been in Australia, I haven’t had the chance to try many wildly disgusting things. The closest I’ve come is that time I ate a crocodile burger at the Queen Victoria Markets down in Melbourne, but you know what? It was delicious. I’d eat it again in a heartbeat. It tasted like a slightly greasier chicken. But until I get a chance to chow down on something that makes my stomach rumble and my skin crawl, I have to take what I can get.
And in this case, what I can get is the best damn food California has to offer.
You’ve already seen a couple of articles in my partnership between Matador Network and Visit California, and they’ve touched on a few of my favorite things already. Live music. Free expensive junk. Now I explore my passion for food in my latest article on Matador Network. Special thanks go out to Corianda Dimes of Golin for her expert consultation as well. Check out the link below:
